Welcome to my crazy little world, my new friends from the
rememberlaura friending meme! Hope you enjoy your stay and please don't disturb the mini-Centurions, they're teaching the mini-Balrogs how to airlock people.
So what has Lily (or Jennifer, if you really want to get literal) been up to this past week or so since the last post?
I don't know, but she's been hobbling around like a little old lady because those squats in gym class did something to her thigh muscles. Can't go up and down steps without causing herself pain. Maybe she ought to install one of those chair lift thingies.
(okay, I think I've been reading this in my mind with a southern accent.)
Anyways. What else? I watched the stage adaptation of
To Kill A Mockingbird. Epicness! The other girls in the audience fangirled over Jem and Dill. The actors are 17 and 12, respectively. Or at least, that's what they told us in the after-show question session thing.
Atticus looked like a cross between Mark Harmon (the guy in
For All Time, in case I wrote down the wrong name) and James McAvoy. He also spoke too fast, one of the only issues I really had with the show
Boo Radley looked a little fat for a recluse.
The acting was superb, though! I especially love Bob Ewell. The actor had a stick-on mustache and looked quite nice without it. And the actor who played Mr. Gilmer isn't too bad looking either.
So if you happen to live near Fullerton College, you need to go see it. LIKE NOW, BECAUSE THEY'LL BE TEARING DOWN THAT GORGEOUS SET ON SUDAY AT NOON!
