Who am I? I am an insane fangirl. I fangirl and flail, write fanfic, draw fanart, make fanmix, and make icons. Right now, the fandoms I am obsessed with are Battlestar Galactica (2003) and Axis Powers Hetalia. Past fandoms include Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Chronicles of Narnia. Currently my favorite people in the whole wide world are my former science teacher Mrs. F (I talk about her a lot in my journal), Mary McDonnell, and Ben Barnes. Some of my favorite characters (and some are also lust objects) are Laura Roslin (BSG), Caspian X (Narnia), Arthur Kirkland (aka England) (Axis Powers Hetalia), Hermione Granger (Harry Potter), and Frodo Baggins (LotR). My ships are Adama/Roslin (BSG), Caspian/Susan (Narnia), Arthur (England)/Alfred (America)(APH, and my first favorite slash pairing), Harry/Hermione (Harry Potter), and Aragorn/Arwen (LotR). I listen to Vienna Teng, Hey Monday, Taylor Swift, Alanis Morisette, Marié Digby, Bear McCreary, and a lot of others.
I might be a happy flaily fangirl, but there are some darker sides of my happy flaily fangirling. First of all, I don't like it if the characters' personalities are mangled. I can't stand Sparkle McSparklepants (aka Twilight) being crossed over into every fandom imaginable as if it's some sparkly version of Rule 42. I hate the defamation of literature and the mangling of grammar. Normally I'm happy about fanfic, but if there's one that rings true to a pet peeve, I switch into PPC mode very fast. After all, I am a member of the Protectors of the Plot Continuum and I want fanfiction to be readable and enjoyable, readable being the key word. Got a problem with my sporking? Yell at me all you want; the story still sucks and is unreadable.
My journal's generally public access unless it's PPC missions; those are flocked and maybe crossposted to the PPC comm. If, for some reason, you want to friend me, just drop me a comment or a PM. If your journal looks trollish, then it's no go. If your journal shows that we might have something in common, I'll probably friend back.
